On Pinkies...

I'm 28-years old and I still play with dolls. I'm not ashamed of that. What started out as one Pinky Street doll has grown into a collection of more than 50 complete sets, not including the duplicates (sometimes triplicate). Included in that 50 is the super rare Gunslinger Girl, Henrietta.

...and Pullips

From Pinky St dolls, I started getting interested in Pullips, 12-inch 1:6 scale dolls that have movable joints and customizable parts. Thanks to a dear friend, I was gifted with two lovely girls. Could this be the start of yet another collection?

Happy Birthday Sayuri!

It’s been two years since I bought my first Pinky, Sayuri, a PK010 Sumire. To celebrate her first birthday, I set up a Pinky blog for my growing Pinky Street collection.

Sayuri doesn’t seem to be happy on her birthday though.

Uh oh, I wonder why Sayuri isn't smiling on her birthday ;)

I wonder why. ;)

Nina and Rida are gifts from bchai, who doesn’t have time to play with them anymore, and she’s only going to get busier with her first baby. Well, I’m just all too happy to adopt her girls :D

But of course, the Pinky obsession doesn’t end here ;) (I’m doomed!)

Maybe they’re planning a surprise party for her!

    Happy birthday to Sayuri! :)

I don’t think one will ever get rid of the Pinky:St obssession, ya know ;) I just met up with one of my college friends and she’s already thinking of what customs she’d like to make.

I want Pullips too. Well, just one Pullip and a Tae Yang — I hope! I mainly want to learn how to make clothes for them ^^; Pinkies are easier to bring along to work and all over the place, I think. So yeah, I still love Pinkies ^^

Or does it? No updates in over a month! That’s hardly the way to nurture an obsession!

I see you’ve ramped up the ad placement on this site. Still, it’s not too distracting.

Sadly, “Pinky Mania” seems to be in a lull right now. You’d probably attract more traffic with a Pullips or Momoko or other BJD blog.

But as far as i’m concerned, Pinkys still rule!

I’ve been busy, you know :P

Yeah, Pinky-dom is in quite a lull. But before you go on about my having Pullips, I’ll have you know that I haven’t bought anything new for Pullips either :P
