Traveling Pinkies: Rui around Batan Island

On Pinkies...

I'm 28-years old and I still play with dolls. I'm not ashamed of that. What started out as one Pinky Street doll has grown into a collection of more than 50 complete sets, not including the duplicates (sometimes triplicate). Included in that 50 is the super rare Gunslinger Girl, Henrietta.

...and Pullips

From Pinky St dolls, I started getting interested in Pullips, 12-inch 1:6 scale dolls that have movable joints and customizable parts. Thanks to a dear friend, I was gifted with two lovely girls. Could this be the start of yet another collection?

Rui stands infront of one of the common sights around Batanes: lush green landscape, mixed with the deep blue of the sea and the lighter blue of the sky. This was taken at one of the many pitstops during our day-long tour around Batan Island.

Yup, you’re not seeing things — Rui is indeed wearing Isuzu Emi’s hairpiece, except it was painted brown and the cowlick chopped off. It was already like that when I bought it over at the Pinky Street Forum’s Marketplace.
