Pinkies, Pullips and everything in between
I'm 28-years old and I still play with dolls. I'm not ashamed of that. What started out as one Pinky Street doll has grown into a collection of more than 50 complete sets, not including the duplicates (sometimes triplicate). Included in that 50 is the super rare Gunslinger Girl, Henrietta.
From Pinky St dolls, I started getting interested in Pullips, 12-inch 1:6 scale dolls that have movable joints and customizable parts. Thanks to a dear friend, I was gifted with two lovely girls. Could this be the start of yet another collection?
Malaysia was one of my last stops in this trip, before going back to Singapore. I took the international express train from Bangkok to Butterworth, where I took a ferry to Penang Island. I met up with Wei, a long time online friend, who took me around the island.
One of the places we went to was the Kek Lok Si Temple in Ayer Itam. It’s a huge temple complex, that has a gorgeous view of the surrounding mountains and the town below.
