I only had one day to spend in KL, and I knew how I was going to spend it. My only goal in Kuala Lumpur was to visit the Delectable store in Mid Valley and to take a photo of my dolls with the Petronas Towers in the background. I do regret not exploring more of KL, but really, I was just too glad to finally go home.

Before I left Singapore, I was able to find this snorkel set from Re-ment that’s the perfect size for Pinky Street dolls. The goggles were lined with pink, and it comes with yellow fins. How cute is that? This set is from the I Love Hawaii series.

One of the places we went to was the Kek Lok Si Temple in Ayer Itam. It’s a huge temple complex, that has a gorgeous view of the surrounding mountains and the town below.

Mind you, I mean that in a very positive way. What’s great about traveling in Batanes and Luang Prabang is that there’s really not much for you to do, which makes it the perfect place to just sit back and watch the world go by. And that’s what we did.

I was feeling considerably better by Sunday, and I spent the day outdoors, first getting lost in Chinatown and somehow stumbling upon a shop that sell 1/6 doll clothes and accessories, then exploring the two temples I missed during my first trip to Thailand: Wat Po and Wat Arun. Between the two, I appreciated Wat Arun more. I think Sayuri liked it there too.

Here’s Yuiichiro and Sayuri at Ta Phrom temple in Siem Reap. This is where the Tomb Raider movie was set, and since its release, people have been flocking to this temple to have their photo taken by the tree that Angelina Jolie made famous. Of course, due to the Pinky’s size, it’s hard to take a photo with a recognizable background.

I’ve been back since two weeks ago, but I’ve been pretty uninspired to update this blog. My travel blog was updated daily during my trip though, so if you’re interested to read about my adventures (and misadventures), head on over to justwandering.org.

Sigrid is wearing clothes from the Get Real Girls Backpacker set. The set includes a doll, a backpack, a sleeping bag and some camping items. Pretty nifty no? I was able to find this set on Ebay, and I didn’t hesitate to bid.

Please note that these are secondhand Pinky Street dolls. Though they have been taken out of their boxes, they are in good condition, and have all their accessories intact. The entire list is available after the jump.

Junpei and Wills are Kaoko‘s Taeyangs and Hime is Rotch‘s princess.

Though I think he’s confusing Tina with Aki… Or maybe he was mesmerized by Tina’s outfit?
