My collection of Pinky St dolls and my bad habit of buying and selling them

Batanes is known for its gorgeous landscapes and towering lighthouses. Though this light houses are no longer operating, it remains one of Batanes‘ most visited spots.

Gert and Sayuri looking at the lighthouse

The Basco lighthouse was the closest to the small town of Basco, Batanes’ capital. On the ground you have a spectacular view of the sea and the rugged land, while from the top of the lighthouse, you see the town sprawled below.

As much as I love my Pullips, Pinkies still rule when it comes to traveling. Their compact size makes them the best travel companions to any trip.

Sayuri in Batanes

This is Sayuri at one of the first places we visited in Batan Island, Batanes. Me, along with my favorite travel buddies went to the Philippine’s northernmost province last November 8 - 11, 2008.

Heinji and I bought a bunch of Pinkies and Pinky-sized accessories with us to our picnic at the La Mesa Ecopark. After our delicious lunch of adobo packed bento style, we set up our dolls for a mini photoshoot.

From rivals to gossip buddies

When the Series 6 Pinkies were due to come out, Vance Project described Mikimiki as Maki’s rival. It’s easy to see why — both look like fashionistas and both have Queen Bee written all over them. They seem to find a common ground though… gossip!

Heinji’s Maki and Mikimiki are seen here sharing this very comfortable and very pink comforter from the Wanju Modern Bedroom set.

Relaxing at the La Mesa Ecopark

Seems like Makoto is enjoying her plush beanbag! Not exactly what you’d expect outdoors, this pink plush beanbag is a part of the Modern Bedroom showcase by Wanju. Wanju makes wooden doll house furnitures that are perfect Pinky scale. Cute, but since it’s made of wood, it’s quite heavy. But still, you can’t beat the pink!

In the background is the table Heinji was picked up at this toy shop he frequents in Circle C, along with some deserts from random Re-ment sets. And of coure, a cocktail umbrella to complete the set.
