The Basco Lighthouse

Batanes is known for its gorgeous landscapes and towering lighthouses. Though this light houses are no longer operating, it remains one of Batanes‘ most visited spots.

The Basco lighthouse was the closest to the small town of Basco, Batanes’ capital. On the ground you have a spectacular view of the sea and the rugged land, [...]

Pinkies in Batanes

As much as I love my Pullips, Pinkies still rule when it comes to traveling. Their compact size makes them the best travel companions to any trip.

This is Sayuri at one of the first places we visited in Batan Island, Batanes. Me, along with my favorite travel buddies went to the Philippine’s northernmost province last [...]

Blu Tack is your bestfriend

Most Pinky St, Pullip and Momoko collectors would agree with me: life is easier with Blu Tack. This nifty reusable adhesive is indispensable when it comes to posing and positioning toys for photo shoots.

Blu Tack is the original reusable adhesive. The unique formula makes Bu Tack distinct from all the imitations that have attempted to [...]

Oh, Tina!

When I saw this chair at the store, I knew there and then that I had to buy it, and that I had to pose Tina like this.

The chair and the pose is so perfectly Tina. I love how her smile seems to be so innocent and sweet, yet her eyes betrays her with its [...]

Problem with phographing toys…

…is that when you hit the wrong angle, they would look lifeless.

I definitely on the wrong angle with Sigrid here. Her bang and the shadow cast by it obscured parts of her eyes, making it look like a lifeless black pool. You can somewhat see the whites of her eyes if you squint hard [...]

Tina’s long, long hair

Tina’s a slut. Yes, you heard me right. I wanted a wig for Tina to match her personality. I initially wanted one of the long wigs with curls in them, but after checking the photos, the wigs too long for Pullips; the curls are already on their legs and calf!

Tina is wearing a wine-colored [...]

Fiery Red Sigrid

Pullip RIDa is one bad ass chick. She comes in this awesome stock outfit, comprised of a tattered black shirt over a long sleeved stripped shirt, red tartan skirt, red fishnets on red suspenders and a pair of black biker boots.

Sigrid is wearing a red & black r59a size 8″-9″ wig
Obviously, I loved the red [...]

New look for Sigrid and Tina

Four months after getting my first Pullips, I’ve accumulated quite a number of doll clothes, swaped their Type 3 bodies for Obitsus and my most recent modification, new wigs.
Sigrid (RIDa) and Tina (Nina) are both sporting J-series wigs from Cancan. As a first time wig buyer, I have a million questions — which size should [...]

Inside the Victorian Dollhouse

Unlike Sylvanian Family and Lundby houses, Melissa & Doug dollhouses aren’t wired. This means getting light inside is a problem.

Of course, this means positioning the Pinky closer to the open area of the house, where there is more light. Great thing about this, of course, is that they’d look as if the room is the [...]

Pucchi!

Here’s Pucchi at the hallway standing beside the staircase. As you can see, the banister is as tall as she is. Going up those stairs would be hell for the knees. Details like these are dead giveaways that the Victorian dollhouse is not Pinky scale. Well, that and the “Scale: 1:12″ printed in the box.

However, [...]
