My collection of Pinky St dolls and my bad habit of buying and selling them

Heinji and I bought a bunch of Pinkies and Pinky-sized accessories with us to our picnic at the La Mesa Ecopark. After our delicious lunch of adobo packed bento style, we set up our dolls for a mini photoshoot.

Relaxing at the La Mesa Ecopark

Seems like Makoto is enjoying her plush beanbag! Not exactly what you’d expect outdoors, this pink plush beanbag is a part of the Modern Bedroom showcase by Wanju. Wanju makes wooden doll house furnitures that are perfect Pinky scale. Cute, but since it’s made of wood, it’s quite heavy. But still, you can’t beat the pink!

In the background is the table Heinji was picked up at this toy shop he frequents in Circle C, along with some deserts from random Re-ment sets. And of coure, a cocktail umbrella to complete the set.

What's grilling?

Rei and Miiko has the patience for something I don’t — grilling! I love barbeques and all sorts of grilled food, but I am loathe to stand over it and wait for the meat to cook. The grill comes with a Lundby kitchen set that has a set of plates, utensils and tumblers, this grill (including a grill cover) and a cake.

Pinky St Picnic at the La Mesa Ecopark

Here’s Reina sitting at the Lundby picnic table. The Lundby Picnic table is the perfect Pinky scale. Using Choro-Q’s sitting legs and torso, Reina seems to be keen to start eating, rather than to keep on posing for photos! The Lundby picnic tables comes with a pitcher and four tumblers. The plates and blue tumblers come from a different Lundby set.

Spot the blogger

Avril and Rui went with me to the Spot.ph Blogger’s Food Tour at Trinoma last April. It was a gathering of familiar faces, and not so familiar faces. While most of the bloggers I already know are in one group, I ended up in the group where I don’t know anybody.

Spot.ph Food Tour - Jester and Avril 01

That wasn’t such a tragedy, I think, because if I went with the other group, I wouldn’t have gotten to know the Jester in exile, whom I’ve only heard about, but never met. He’s quite a character, really. Don’t let the hat intimidate you.

The photo bears the Just Wandering watermark because I’m too lazy to re-brand it with the Life on Pinky Street watermark XD Rest assured I’m using this photo with permission ;)
