My collection of Pinky St dolls and my bad habit of buying and selling them
After promising to put up my store countless times, it’s finally up! I am selling off some of my brand new and unopened sets to help fund my travels and my orders for more Pinky Street dolls. Hey, the Sky Crawlers and Series 8 are now available for Pre-order at HLJ!
Among the dolls for sale are the red-haired Shana, Asuka and Rei, Yukata Moe, Haruhi, Mikuru, Yuki and Tsuruya. To place your orders, simply fill in the order form. Shipping is FREE locally for 2 or more dolls.

With every collection, money is a big concern. Unless you collect dust or fecal matter, I guess. But why would you want to do that?
I have a regular job that keeps me and the credit card companies happy. In addition, I have a blog that’s heavily monetized, which helps pay for this hobby. To further augment my Pinky fund, I sell Pinky parts that I don’t use and extra sets I may have.
The money from the blog ads and the Pinky sales go to my Paypal account. Up until recently, withdrawals to local banks aren’t possible. Though they have now enabled withdrawals, I prefer to keep my money with Paypal. My reason? So I’d have money to spend online. It’s better this way, I think, at least I can give my credit card a well deserved (and much needed) break.
I’m actually glad I left them there. The red-haired Shana (Shakugan no Shana of the flaming red hair with matching flaming sword and oh so gorgeous trenchcoat) has just been released in Japan and is slowly making its way to collectors and rabid eBay sellers (who are selling her at an outrageous price: US$69.99? Are you crazy? Talk about taking advantage of equally rabid collectors). Since I have money in my Paypal, I was able to send my payment for my Shana hoard to a generous friend who volunteered to buy Shana for the Kalye Pinky crew.
Oh crap. I just realized I sent off over US$100 for Pinkies. This is one hell of a way to start a morning.
