My collection of Pinky St dolls and my bad habit of buying and selling them

Tohru loves the color scheme

Melissa & Doug’s Victorian Dollhouse comes wallpapered. Well, I’m not really sure if the wallpapers are already in place when you buy the doll house, but I do know it requires some assembly.

It’d suck if the wallpaper aren’t to your liking, but I figured it’d be easy enough to modify to your liking. The wallpaper are the glossy kind of stickers, so I guess to customize, you’d need to use paint that would stick. Or if that fails, just stick on a new wallpaper. But this color scheme is pretty nice, don’t you think? Tohru loves it.

Melissa & Doug toys are available in the Philippines at Pocketful of Kids, 15/F Strata 2000 Building, Emerald Avenue, Ortigas Center, Pasig City.

Tohru and Marc takes a break on the steps of one of the oldest building in Coron. This building, part of the Claudio Sandoval Elementary School (Paaralang Elementarya ng Claudio Sandoval), has been standing since the time of the Japanese occupation in the Philippines. There’s also rumors going around that gold can be found underneath the building.

The school was one stop in our mini-walking tour of Coron Town to orient ourselves of our home for the next two days. After going around the town (and meeting the Mayor), we proceeded to climb Mt. Tapyas. Read more about our Coron, Palawan adventures on Just Wandering.

My, oh my! I can’t believe four months have passed since I last updated! At first I was going to use my broken camera as an excuse, which is flimsy as it is because I have a gazillion photos in my hard drive. Then I thought I’d say that I was busy, but I might as well admit it: I got lazy. With so many blogs to update, I sometimes get sick of writing.

I did not, however, get sick of shopping. I’d like to think I have gotten a bit better, and now putting more thought before ordering, but alas, I still have several Pinkies on pre-order, and Pinkies being stalked on e-Bay and Yahoo!Japan Auction.

But enough of this babble, on to the show! Here are the Pinkies that came after Kokoro and Evil arrived:

Ako, O-hara and MikiMiki from the long awaited Series 6. Featuring t-shirt dresses, super girly tops and skirts and a matching suit, Pinkists are definitely liking the direction Baby Sue is taking with his 5cm cuties.

With the Series 6 girls, comes the Evangelion Girls version 2. I only opened Asuka, because she has more usable parts (for me). That dress is a definite winner, the red mary janes are simply adorable, and the hair ribbons a great bonus.

Tohru Honda

Last but not the least comes Honda Tohru, from Fruits Baskets. Given out with a copy of the Hana to Yume magazine on a pre-order, Tohru is definitely one of the rarer Pinky Street dolls. She comes with both her school uniform tops, blue and pink hair ribbons and my favorite accessories, Kyou Sohma and Yuki Sohma in their zodiac forms, as well as a Tohru onigiri.

Hopefully, there’d be a couple more posts in the coming days. Goodness know I have tons of photos to show off!
